About Dave Eggins
Bright Design Co is a CAD design, product development and 3D printing company. We help small to medium-size companies and individuals develop new innovations and products through creating CAD models, functional prototypes and seeing the product through to production.
My background is in music, film & television, patternmaking and CNC engineering. My career spans many exciting and different jobs both in Australia and abroad, ranging from the corporate world, building super yachts, fine-tuning a Formula 1 car, working on military bases in the Middle East and even to the set of Harry Potter. I have a wealth of experience, a desire to learn and a passion for adventure.
I have spent the last 11 years designing, developing and manufacturing virtual reality simulation training equipment and installations. In between family and work life, I have been designing and developing products for a broad range of industries and individuals.
I am proud of Australian innovation and quality workmanship and I desire to see manufacturing rekindled here to keep and create Aussie jobs. As far as I can manage, I strive to purchase supplies and manufacture everything locally to keep small business alive. I love to blend creativity with technology. Let's make something amazing!
